Congratulations to Ex Timmins student Sally Croft for receiving a 1st BA Honours for Professional & Commercial Dance delivered by Shockout Arts, Manchester.

Eve Davis – has been successfully chosen to attend Performers College from September on the degree course to further her training.


Grace Willetts – has been offered an unconditional place at Stella Mann, Bird College Conservatoire for Dance and Musical Theatre, Addict Dance Academy.
Grace has decided to further her training with Addict Dance Academy. We wish her the best of luck.

Ellie Goulding – has been offered a place at LIPA – Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Shockout Arts and Addict Dance Academy. Ellie has decided to further her training at Addict Dance Academy in September. We wish her the best of luck.

Sarah Batstone – has been offered a place at Shockout Arts, Performers and London Studio Centre to further her training. We wish her the best of luck.

Ellie Golding – has been offered a place a Shockout Arts and Addict Dance Academy. Ellie has more auditions coming up. We wish her the best of luck.

Grace Willetts – has been offered an unconditional place at Stella Mann Vocational School as well as Addict dance academy – More auditions are coming up for Grace. We wish her the best of luck.


Keisha Allchurch – Northern Ballet School with a DaDa Award & completed her second year with Elmhurst School for Dance senior associate programme.

Libby Bruten & Libby Doyle – 2019 Stage production of Singing in the Rain at the Alexander Theatre.

Eve Davis – Completed her 1st year on the CAT Programme.

Aimée Fairbrother – Completed her first year with Elmhurst School for Dance senior associate programme.

Grace Willetts – Performing 2018/19 seasons of ELF A Christmas Spectacular at NEC Resorts World Arena & UK Tour.

Sophie Tierney Currently dancing with Chrysalis London after graduating from Tring Performing Arts and has now completed a degree in contemporary dance.


This year we welcome Lily Tatman into our team as a student teacher, we are delighted to have her help teach your little ones in the lower school. Also, congratulations to Lily, she was chosen to be part of the Commonwealth Games handover ceremony to Birmingham recently.

IDTA scholarship nominations have been awarded to Aimee Fairbrother & Keisha Allchurch for Intermediate Ballet also nominated are Aimee, Keisha and Elle Weaver for Grade 5 Modern. These are really hard exams so a huge well done to all three girls nominated and everyone that took exams in the recent session, once again it was a 100% pass rate!

Well done Leah Hancock, she has secured a place at BOA sixth form to further her dance training and to Katie Wright who is now completing her GCSE’s at BOA. 

Ex-Timmins student and Tring Park Graduate Sophie Tierney has been offered her first professional engagement with Chrysalis London dance Company. Watch out for tour dates coning soon. 

Ex-Timmins student and 3rd Year Laines Performing Arts student Grace Rhodes made her first TV appearance on the Generation Game with the Bollyflex Company.

Ex-Timmins Student and Arts Educational Graduate Sinead Long makes her Westend debut at the Coliseum this summer in the Musical Chess!


This year we have joined forces with some wonderful professional dancers, actors and vocation schools to give exclusive workshops to Timmins Academy students. They offer insights to life in the industry or at a full- time dance school and audition tips. So far this year we have had:

Congratualtions to Keisha Allchurch who embarks on the Elmhurst School for Dance Senior Associate program this year. 

Hannah Bishop will join English Youth Ballet this season for Etudes and Nutcracker Suites performances. Good luck!

Congratualtions Aimee Fairbrother who has been offered a place on the Graham Fletcher Ballet Associates program. She starts working with the ex-principal Royal Ballet Dancer this month.

Huge congratulations to Ellie Weaver & Grace Willetts for outstanding distinction marks in their associate teaching exam. They join our team this year as assistant teachers, both hard working and dedicated to dance, they are a huge asset to our young dancers at Timmins.

Two IDTA examination sessions in 2015/16 – once again received 100% pass rate with the majority of students receiving Merit & Distinctions.

NEWS 2013/14: 

Congratulations to Sophie Tierney who has successfully won a Dada scholarship for Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, she will take up her full time training this coming September. She will be dearly missed by all of us at Timmins.  

Rebecca Levett, Grace Rhodes and Sophie Tierney all received Scholarship nominations for their exams.  Only a small number of students are selected throughout the UK each year .…Very well done.

A number of students recently auditioned for English Youth Ballet, and we are delighted that Aimee Fairbrother, Sally Croft and Talia Manders have been offered places. They will be performing in Sleeping Beauty at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre in September

Sally Croft, Grace Willetts, Sophie Tierney and Talia Manders all successfully auditioned for this year’s Production at the Alex Theatre, Birmingham, and will be performing in “Footloose”.
